We will recognize Black History month next Sunday during our 11:00 a.m. worship service. Please feel free to wear your most stylish African attire. If you would like more information, please see Deacon Carter.
The men’s Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday, March 3 at 10:00 a.m. Men of all ages are encouraged to attend.
The Youth Ministry will hold its annual Youth Rally in March. The festivities will be March 17-19. The theme for this year’s Rally is “Finding Joy in Jesus.” Be sure and prepare now to have your children attend; and don’t forget other youth to be a part. The Men’s Ministry will again go on a Men’s Retreat this coming March. This year they will by traveling to Fort Fisher, near Wilmington. The Cost for this 3-day, 2-night time of great fellowship is only $50.00. This includes food and accommodations. Please get you money in as soon as possible. Men of all ages are invited attend.
Just a reminder that we have already begun our drive for next year’s Homecoming. You can contribute a small amount each week from now until September 2012, until you reach your $500.00 goal. Be sure and indicate on your giving envelope how much of your offering you would like to designate for this worthy cause.
